Southern Account Manager
Location: Remote, South of England

We’re looking for a driven and relationship-focused Sales Account Manager to grow and manage our portfolio of trade accounts. This is a field-based role suited to someone who enjoys being out on the road, meeting customers, building partnerships, and driving commercial growth. You’ll join a Fjuka team expanding again after another record year to date.

You’ll act as the face of the company in your territory, identifying opportunities, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring strong long-term partnerships with our trade customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with existing trade customers whilst identifying and securing new ones to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Conduct regular face-to-face meetings and site visits with customers.
  • Present and promote the company’s product range to potential and existing customers.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue growth objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline activity, and sales forecasts in the CRM system.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Represent the company at trade events and open days when required.
  • Ensure excellent customer experience and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a field-based sales, account management, or business development role. Ideally in fishing or a similar industry.
  • Experience selling into trade customers or B2B environments.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline and prioritise opportunities effectively.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while managing a territory.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
